Meet the Expert, Dr. Karim Qayumi
Dr. Qayumi boasts fifty years of teaching experience and is an award-winning innovator, entrepreneur, and teacher. He has achieved many accomplishments as a Director of Research for Cardio-Vascular Surgery, Editor in Chief of the Journal of Investigative Surgery, Founder and Director of the Centre of Excellence for Simulation Education and Innovation at the University of British Columbia. He is also the Chair of Technology-enabled Learning and Regional Director for the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
Dr. Qayumi is also the Founder and CEO of CanHealth International, a registered Canadian non-profit charity that aims to equalize health education between developed and developing countries.
